What comes after KPIs

- a talk on using data to drive your business, brought to you by Fonterra and NOW Consulting

What comes after KPIs

Join us on the 20th of February to hear Mark I’Anson, Fonterra’s Senior Project Manager for Global Performance & Analytics, talk on how Fonterra have used data & analytics to go from managing their production process using a standalone KPI scorecard to an automated data driven process supported by up to date commentary and drill down capability. This has grown the acceptance of the data integrity and the trust of the business. Fonterra’s operations portal is now key to the company’s production process, from bulk commodity products to consumables like yogurt and drinks.  Mark will talk through the transformation process and how the Fonterra team has been so successful in using data to revolutionise such a critical part of its business.

This will be followed by a short talk by WhereScape & NOW Consulting founder, Michael Whitehead, who will talk through the things you have to do to be successful in BI, data & analytics.  Having been heavily involved in the New Zealand, US and UK data & analytics markets for the past ten years Michael has been involved in more BI projects than most BI practitioners manage in a lifetime.  Across all those projects, Michael has identified five things that data teams must get right to ensure the success of their data & analytics projects.

A full cooked breakfast will be served with fruit, orange juice and plenty of coffee.  The doors will open at 7.30am with the talk starting at 7.40am and finishing shortly before 9 am.

If you're thinking about how to use data to revolutionise your business, come along and enjoy a coffee and some breakfast.

The event is at the Ferrybank on Grantham Street.  We look forward to seeing you there.
