October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and NOW Consulting is helping to support this by going PINK FOR A DAY on Tuesday 30 October.
We are encouringing all our staff - yes, even the men - to wear pink for one day, even if its just one item, to show their support for this worthy cause and have a bit of fun at the same time.
Pink for a Day is about creating a platform that enables conversations about breast health and general wellbeing at work. Do you know that more than 650 kiwis die from breast cancer each year and so many more are affected?
We have set up a donation page https://takeaction.org.nz/page/nowconsultinggoespink. All donations received from our page will go towards funding vital research projects and medical grants to help improve the survivorship of breast cancer in New Zealand. The earlier we all have the information we need and know what to look for, the more likely it is that the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation will achieve the vision of zero deaths from breast cancer in New Zealand. It will also help support kiwi women wo have been diagnosed with breast cancer through services such as counselling and rehabilitation programmes.
NOW Consulting will match all donations made by staff.
